This watercolor workshop will teach students a step-by-step painting of a blue jay in watercolor, including exercises to help you better understand materials and techniques for blending transparent watercolors and using your brushes. You are invited to explore the world of watercolor and most of all, have fun!
For beginners and intermediate painters.
Please bring regular watercolor supplies, brushes, paper, paints, palette, paper towels, pencil, eraser, sponges, water sprayer etc.
Brushes: #4, #6, #8 and #10 Round brushes; #4 and #6 Flat Shader brushes.
Paper: Watercolor Block, 140 lbs. Cold Pressed. Arches paper is preferred, but any good quality watercolor block is OK.
Paints: Any professional quality tube watercolors.
Palette: A white plastic palette for paint and mixing area.
Paper Towels:Water control and clean up.
Pencil (2B) & Eraser
Water Bucket
Graphite Transfer-Paper: Tracing Drawing.
Knife: Butter knife.
