The Watercolor Art Society - Houston offers opportunities for members to be part of a community to share their interest in watercolor art.
Members have the opportunity to display their artistic talents in WAS-H exhibits, to participate in classes and workshops to explore new ideas and techniques, and to enjoy the camaraderie of others who share interest in art.
Members gather for monthly Demo Meetings on/near the first Sunday of the month at 2 p.m. (except for December). Meetings feature watercolor demonstrations, lectures and news of WAS-H activities. Meetings are followed in the Gallery by the Monthly Show awards announcements and a reception at 3:30 p.m.
The membership year runs from June 1 through May 31 each year.
Membership is open to the beginner, professional, or art enthusiast.
