Watercolor Demo: Neon Signs & Experimental Play
Join us for a fun and inspiring demo that blends photorealism with playful experimentation!
Our artist will share a 12" x 12" neon letter painting in progress, explaining how she transformed reference photos in Photoshop and how she builds up the background with rich, rusty textures. You’ll also see how blocking out the subject makes painting the background first much easier.
While the neon piece dries, we’ll switch gears to explore an experimental crumpled paper technique that adds amazing texture for abstracts and collage.
Come see two very different approaches to watercolor—and leave with fresh ideas to try in your own work!
