Each month WAS-H meets together on a Sunday @ 2 pm to have a General Meeting and Artist Demonstration.  Typically, these events will happen on the first Sunday each month.

    About Adam:

     A freelance painter and member of the Watercolor Art Society–Houston (WAS-H). He is a Signature Member of the Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour (CSPWC), the Society of Canadian Artists (SCA, 2021), and the Ontario Society of Artists (OSA, 2021). He serves as Vice Chairman of the Atlantic Artists Association and as a Board Member of the Canadian Oil Painting Society. He is also a member of the American Watercolor Society (2021), the Art Guild of Scarborough, and the Don Valley Art Club.

    About the demo artist:  

    Peihong graduated from Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1993. From 1990-1999 She
    served as an art editor for the Beijing Review, a national weekly magazine. Her artwork has been exhibited internationally in China, South Korea, Singapore, and Tokyo, as well as stateside in California and throughout Texas. Her artwork has also been included in several group exhibitions, art books, prestigious collections. Peihong's painting titled Fragrant Moonlit was presented by the Chinese government to the French government. Peihong moved to United States in 1999. Since 2002, she taught various classes and workshops of chinese ink art at the Museum Fine Arts of Houston, Glassell School, The Jung Center, Watercolor Art Society - Houston, West University Rec. Center, Houston Arboretum Nature Center, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Rice University, and the Asian
    Society Texas Center.
