    Monthly Member Workshop

    (Paint-In)

    Date: Saturday, June 7

    Time: 9:30 am - 3:00 pm

    Instructor:  Sue Bishop

Join instructor Sue Bishop for a creative and engaging Paint-In designed for artists of all skill levels—from beginners to advanced. This hands-on workshop will guide you through the exciting process of drawing simple human figures and developing abstracted surfaces. With step-by-step instruction and a helpful handout provided, you'll learn how to create an expressive, layered composition.

"One never stops learning when art is their passion," stated Bishop. She brings that same passion to her teaching. In this one-day seminar for WASH members, Sue will focus on abstract figures and the use of acrylics, sharing her expertise and enthusiasm in a supportive and inspiring setting.

Using the technique of visual deduction, you’ll gradually reveal your figures from within the abstract background you create, resulting in a unique and dynamic work of art.

Don’t miss this opportunity to work with a master artist. Sign up now — seating is limited!

Rule #1…Do not get into a bumble about the supplies.  Bring the colors that you like and are comfortable painting with.  People have made the mistake of bringing and using paints they have never tried before. i believe that new techniques need to be tried with materials that we are comfortable with.  The new technique will be experiment enough.
