Students will explore the fundamentals of drawing through various hands-on activities and class discussions. This class will touch upon observation, shapes, volume, value, line and texture. This class is intended for students with little or no previous drawing experience or those that want to sharpen their fundamental skills. Level: Novice, Beginner

Supply List Sketch Book - 8.5 x 11 in size, 50 lb. paper weight (recommend Bienfang brand) Variety of graphite pencils (2H, HB, 2B) (recommend Staedtler graphite pencil set 12) Prismacolor Kneaded Rubber Eraser Pink Pearl Eraser optional: pack of Helix or Pentel eraser caps (helpful, not required) Free PDF version of reference book will be sent upon registration: *KEYS TO DRAWING, Bert Dodson Face masks are not required, but are encouraged for those who wish to wear them. Visitors and students are asked to monitor themselves in regard to social distancing and health, and are expected to consider the health of themselves and others before entering the building.
