IN PERSON - Nature Up-Close and Personal: Rocks and Water

As artists we are inspired by nature’s beauty and often try to recreate the illusion of the infinite variety of shapes, textures, colors , etc.

During this workshop we will explore a variety of techniques to create realistic elements of a landscape, that include rocks and water.

The instructor will provide step-by-step demonstrations and explain the techniques used. Reference materials and detailed information will be provided to all of the registered participants at least 2 weeks prior to the workshop.

Students are also welcome to work from their own materials if they prefer.

Level: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced

Supply List: Please bring your favorite supplies. For a suggested supply list, click HERE.
In addition to the basic supplies, please bring additional items that will help to create the rich textures of the subjects: watercolor pencils/crayons, sponges, small piece of sandpaper, xacto knife, stippling brush, etc.
