This online course will focus on creating one completed floral still life painting. Students will focus on methods of reducing complex elements into simple and accurate shapes while focusing on patterns, rhythm, movement, and contour lines to create fresh exciting paintings. Organizing a color palette and creating preliminary sketches will be part of our classroom journey. This course is a fantastic way to explore color theory focusing on hue, value, chroma, and temperature. Reference photos will be provided or students may take their own photos from floral arrangements. This class is perfect for acrylic and gouache painters.
