Light creates beautiful reflections, shadows, contrasts and patterns, and establishes the mood of the paintingThe main focus of this workshop will be creating the illusion of light, using a simple still life setting. We will explore a variety of techniques to create a realistic watercolor painting. The instructor will explain how to approach the variety of shapes, textures and colors of the subject and how to create a strong contrast and depth in the painting.  Reference materials, detailed information and supply list will be emailed to all the registered participants at least 3 weeks prior to the workshop.  Students are also welcome to work form their own materials if they prefer.
