January 2024 Monthly Paint-In

Topic: Fence Field

Country landscape with a nice wood fence to cross the painting. Simple sky and hills. There will be separation  between background hills and light foreground grasses.

Limited masking will be used on the fence, so the green grass won’t contaminate the wooden fence.

Cheryl Evans, WAS-H’s Education Director, popular instructor and Signature-level awards winner, will present the demonstration at the January General Meeting.

A producing artist and active art educator, Cheryl is passionate about sharing her knowledge in workshops and demonstrations and she exhibits her works worldwide, where they are in public, corporate, and private collections in the United States, Norway, England, Mexico, and Japan.

Cheryl received her BFA at Stephen F. Austin State University and a Masters of Arts degree from University of Houston Clear Lake. Cheryl spent 32 years teaching in the public school system and was named Art Educator of the Year in 2012 by Texas Art Education Association.
