AME is Managed by AME Director

Katherine Rodgers

The Annual Members Exhibit (AME) is one of two juried exhibitions each year, the other being the International Watermedia Exhibition (IWE).  AME is WAS-H's longest running event, the first AME having been held in 1969 when WAS-H was a chapter of the Southwest Watercolor Society before incorporating as WAS-H in 1975.  AME showcases the best-of-the-best from WAS-H's extraordinary member artists.   While only members may enter paintings in AME, everyone is invited to come and view the exhibit during Gallery Hours.

Stanley S. Smith Memorial Supports First, Second and Third Place Awards

WAS-H extends special thank to the estate of longtime WAS-H member, Stanley S. Smith. Stan was a key supporter of WAS-H, and instrumental in designing and building our current "new" building. His continued thoughtful service to WAS-H helped shape who we are as an organization today. Stan was recognized by WAS-H with an honorary membership following the completion of the current building. Those who knew him remember his quick wit and broad smile. We are honored to be remembered by his estate, and thankful for the support to the Annual Members Exhibit.
