Inspired by the Colors
Here is the photo reference for Carla's class. Please do not draw the scene as it is. Carla is inspired by the colors but will adjust the shapes as part of the lesson. You can follow Carla as she does a quick draw along with the exercise. It will be a great opportunity to learn how you can make adjustments with your own photos.
Carla (Huctwith) Gauthier is a citizen of Canada and the United States. She has degrees in studio art/art history and in education. Carla has been painting in watercolor for over 40 years and is a long time WAS-H member. She is a published artist with many signature memberships including those in NWS, TWA, CSPWC, and WAS-H. She exhibits her work nationally and internationally.
Each Wednesday we host an art gathering for Seniors. This is a friendly and supportive group - all levels are welcome to join and there is no fee for this class however, online registration is required to participate.
Students bring their own supplies - only water-media please.
This weekly event is a community outreach to seniors 55+ only.
