In this two-day workshop students will lean the physique and movement of the horse combine with rare balance, the qualities of grace and strength, the harmony of the Yin and Yang. To depict the spirit of the horse is to reveal the wholeness of energy, the powerful brush movement, the accurate lines, and the contrast gradation of ink. Students are receiving individual attention adapted to their particular skill level and interests.

Supply list

Paper: absorbent Rice (Shuan) paper or semi absorbent Rice(Shuan) paper

Brushes: A large hard bristles brush or A large combination brush.  A small combination brush. A small detailed brush as a pointed brush.

A soft pencil or a charcoal

A bottle of ink.  A set of Chinese watercolors (12 tubes or 18 tubes)

A cotton or wool felt. 

A water container.

 2-3 large porcelain dishes. 

Two paper weights. 

A roll paper towel
