Vie will share her method of getting in touch with your inner artist when beginning a painting, and how to respond freely without boundaries or expectations. Watercolor collage is a technique which offers an exhilarating way to trust the creative process and discover one's unique artistic expressions. In this workshop, Vie will introduce movement and abstraction as the foundation of painting, incorporating rice and art papers to build rich layers of texture and depth. Some participants may choose to superimpose subject matter, while others may choose to work solely in abstraction. Through group demos and one-on-one guidance, Vie will support each participant's journey of exploration. Her works are organic forms rooted in architectural elements. The forms are sensuous and portray the force and fragility of nature.
