With a minimum of drawing, landscapes will be explored with attention to atmospheric perspective, color harmony, value, and texture.
This is a guided class — but individual expression is celebrated!
Supply list for students: The best paper (100% cotton, hopefully!) you can afford — minimum size 9x12”. Masking tape and boards (if not working on a block.) …We may be completing two paintings each day.
(Necessary: two different paper set-ups, as we will be working on pieces simultaneously.)
watercolor palette of your choice, one with both large flat mixing surfaces and separated wells recommended.
Mid-sized (#6-8) cheap fan brush. Old toothbrush. White gouache. Dr. PH Martin’s Bleed proof White. Masking Fluid (I use Pebeo.) Exacto knife. Blue painters tape.
