Three Friday Afternoons

October 25 and Nov. 1 & 8

1 pm - 4 pm

$180 Tuition/$150 Members

With a minimum of drawing, landscapes will be explored with attention to atmospheric perspective, color harmony, value and texture.  This is a guided class with individual expression celebrated!

Supplies needed:

The best paper you can afford (min. size 9 x 12), 100% cotton

Masking tape and boards (if not using a block)

We will do two paintings each class, so be sure to have two paper set-ups (ie boards) so we can work on them both at the same time.

Palette with large flat mixing surface -- old, white dinner plate works well, too.

Fan brush - sized 6 or 9, cheap and stiff.

Old toothbrush

Dr. PH Martin's Bleed Proof White

Masking Fluid

Exacto knife

Sharpe - fine line - black

A couple of craggy natural sea sponges

An artist notebook (or the back of old paintings) for exercises.
