"Want to learn the basic techniques used to create beautiful portraits of your favorite dogs and Cats with watercolor? This class is for you!
Class will begin with a demonstration. Students will pick a reference photo and begin their own journey. The demo will show you some techniques to make painting your pet fun. You’ll work with a loose brush and apply your understanding of light and shade and using values to make your painting pop. While this class is appropriate for the beginner, intermediate and advanced painters will also benefit.
Graphite Pencils: HB, 2B (preferable)
Watercolor brushes ( # 02 to # 06) preferably natural squirrel hair )
Watercolor paint of your choice, pallet,
140 Lb arches ¼ size paper
Light weight Drawing Board
Eraser – masking tape –
