With a minimum of drawing, landscapes will be explored with attention to atmospheric perspective, color harmony, value and texture. This is a guided class with individual expression celebrated!
Supplies needed:
The best paper you can afford (min. size 9 x 12), 100% cotton
Masking tape and boards (if not using a block)
Palette with large flat mixing surface -- old, white dinner plate works well, too.
Fan brush - sized 6 or 9, cheap and stiff.
Old toothbrush
Dr. PH Martin's Bleed Proof White
Masking Fluid
Exacto knife
Sharpe - fine line - black
A couple of craggy natural sea sponges
An artist notebook (or the back of old paintings) for exercises.
