One Day Workshop

February 18

9:30 am- 3:30 pm

$85 Regular Tuition

$75 Member Tuition

Based on Bonnard’s compositions, color palette and brush marks, this day-long workshop will explore three themes in Bonnard’s oeuvre:
1)      An interior kitchen scene
2)      A landscape through a door or window
3)      And a bathroom scene in which there is a mirror reflection.

Bring with you:

1. Media: Your choice of acrylic, gouache or watercolor, along with the appropriate brushes and supplies to paint.

2. A glossy printed 8 x 10 photograph you've taken based on one of the three themes listed above. Look for pattern, unusual points of view, a frame within a frame and expressive color.

3.  Size and Surface will be up to the student.  You can paint on watercolor paper, Yupo paper, or canvas using acrylic paint, gouache, watercolor, watercolor pencil, colored pencil or graphite.
