In this class we will learn about creating cooler light, finding a value balance with a lighter subject, and getting the washes of color right the first time so that the snow looks soft and untouched. We aill also learn to paint bare trees without painting every branch! Together we will do a group painting, and then we will work on individual projects to further what we have learned. Level: Beginner with experience, Intermediate, Advanced

Supply List: Regular Watercolor supplies – paper towels, palette, paints, brushes. pencil & eraser and the best paper you can afford. You should also bring a photo for inspiration for your own winter painting, but I will also have photos for you to use if you need them.
