How to be creative and yet aware of the important elements of painting is focus of this class. Have fun with multi-media layering of collage papers, drawing, and painting. You will receive instructions regarding how to plan your work and still be spontaneous in application of mixed media materials. Make work that has meaning to you. The course is suitable for beginners, as well as more experienced painters looking to explore abstract art. You will also have the opportunity to receive feedback on your work from the course instructor, Kim Granhaug, NWS, TWS, WASH. Links to a video recording of each session will be provided, should you miss a class or want to review a session. Links remain available for 120 days. Level: Novice, Beginner, Intermediate
