  • One monitor per class will receive discount in exchange for helping teacher with specific tasks. Registration code is given to those who have completed the training class.

There are endless possibilities with pen and wash techniques from loose to technical. With personal attention to each student, we will paint washes enhanced with pen, and line work followed by watercolor.  Our subject will be landscape, buildings, floral, and still life. We will paint 9X12 paintings as well as sketchbook pieces.

Level: Novice, Beginner, Intermediate


Supply List

  • Multimedia Watercolor pad 9X12 – 140 lb paper
  • Black waterproof Micron technical pens – size 01, 05, and 08
  • Pen that will smear when wet
  • One regular lead pencil and an eraser
  • Simply Simmons watercolor brushes - #3 round and 5/8 flat
  • Watercolor paint of your choice – red, yellow, blue
  • Paper towel roll and box of facial tissue
  • Small ruler
  • Plexiglass or plastic corrugated sign board to use as a support for paper – approx. 11X14
  • Pro artist tape
  • Dip pen if interested – medium nib and holder and India ink ( optional )
