This class is designed to learn basic techniques of portraits painting in watercolor medium. Class demos will help you to learn portrait painting skills, techniques, and applying tone values. In many ways, portrait painting is a fun class. It is exciting, full of artistic challenges, as well as gives you confidence working with the loose brush and understanding of light and shade.

Level: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced

Supply List:

Graphite Pencils: HB, 2B (preferable)

Watercolor brushes (#02 to #06 natural squirrel hair preferred)

A set of Watercolor paint of your choice, palette, (all related material)

140 Lb arches 22x30" sheet (cut in quarters) or pads 10” x 15”

Light weight Drawing Board

Eraser – masking tape – sharpener – etc
