Big brushes + limited palette + minimized detail = Expressive Landscapes!

In this class we will discuss editing detail, choosing color and mark making that is suggestive and simplified. Any and all watermedia can be used, including collage. Although the results will be loose, the painting process is sometimes thoughtful and in slow motion.

Level: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced

Supply List: Bring your regular watercolor supplies, including opaque paints, crayons, markers etc, and even old paintings for collage possibilities. Let’s use 11 x 15” paper or bigger, so as not to limit our brushstrokes. Bring some simple photo references for inspiration.

Due to the on-going pandemic, masks are required at all in-person events/classes until further notice.
