April Monthly Paint-In: Instructor Les McDonald, Jr.
Class: 9:30-3:00 on Saturday, April 2, 2022
If you’ve not taken one of Les McDonald’s workshops, this Paint-In will give you a taste of what to expect. Les’ teaching style is laid back and enjoyable. He is full of information & likes to share his techniques. Don’t worry about not getting one on one time with the instructor, Les makes a habit of walking around the room to look at student’s work and help each student in the class at their workstation. If you are beginner or advanced student wishing to accomplish a painting in one day with other artists while learning from an award winning artist, please register for this Paint-In. He will be showing his skills with straight lines using a Ruling Pen and Straight Edge Ruler. *In preparation for this Paint-In, Les encourages you to draw, trace, grid out, light box the image to at least a 1/4 sheet of your favorite watercolor paper. Les will email a larger pixel photo to you; email him at les@lesmcdonald.com.
Bring a sack lunch, sweater/light jacket (in case the room temp is cool). We’ll have coffee and snacks!
