Plein Air Painting - Waterwall Park at the Galleria
Kathleen Church, Facilitator
Do you love painting outdoors, in "plein air?" Painters will meet on Tuesday, March 23rd at the Gerald D. Hines Waterwall Park at the Galleria from 10am to 1pm.
The Gerald D. Hines Waterwall Park is at 2800 Post Oak Blvd. Come to paint Houston's 64-foot Waterwall framed by green space. Paid parking is available in the Williams Tower parking garage. Free parking is available a block away at the Norstrom entrance at the Galleria parking garage. More details on the location can be found here, https://www.uptown-houston.com/news/page/water-wall-park.
This is a casual meeting of WAS-H members who want to paint outdoors. Please observe social distancing, and location rules. Register to receive updates about the event, and so the coordinator has an idea of who to be on the look out for. There is no fee or instruction, just come to paint and have fun.
Bring the supplies you can comfortably carry, and a lightweight stool. Some like to paint in their laps on a block or in a sketchbook. Check out suggested supplies from these seasoned plein air painters.
