Plein Air Painting - Hermann Park
Kathleen Church, Facilitator kechurch@mac.com
Do you love painting outdoors, in "plein air?" Painters will meet on Tuesday, March 2nd at the Japanese Garden in Hermann Park from 10am to 1pm.
The entrance to the Japanese Garden is near the Pioneer Memorial obelisk just off Molly Ann Smith Plaza near the Heart of the Park. The closest parking lot is Lot A, located just off Sam Houston Monument Circle. More details on the location can be found here, https://www.hermannpark.org.
This is a casual meeting of WAS-H members who want to paint outdoors. Please observe social distancing and any Hermann Park rules. Register to receive updates about the event, and so the coordinator has an idea of who to be on the look out for. There is no fee or instruction, just come to paint and have fun.
Supplies:
Bring the supplies you can comfortably carry, and a lightweight stool. Some like to paint in their laps on a block or in a sketchbook. Check out suggested supplies from these seasoned plein air painters.
