In China, the Peony was known as the "king of all Flowers", and it is the epitome of nobility. You will learn the magnificent of peony through with simplicity of brushwork, depicts the ideas that unique perspective to expresses on Oriental rice paper.  Each technique is demonstrated by the instructor. Students receive individual attention adapted to their particular skill level and interests. All levels.

Supply list:

  • Two small combination brushes. One large combination brushes. One large hard bristles brush as orchid bamboo, one fine tip brush or happy dot brush.
  • A box of Marine’s Chinses watercolor 12 or 18 tubes https://www.jerrysartarama.com/maries-chinese-watercolor-painting-set
  • A bottle of Sumi ink.
  • Couple of large porcelain dishes as your older dish.
  • A roll of paper towel,
  • 2-4 paper weights,
  • A painting mat.
  • A wash jar.
