VIRTUAL - Photographing Paintings & Editing Photos on Your Phone
Beth Graham

Saturday, Sept 19

10:00am-12:00pm Central

$40

This class will cover 4 things:

  1. How to take a good photograph of a painting to submit to an online exhibit.

  2. How to use your phone to edit the photograph so it looks like your painting.

  3. How to save & submit that photo.

  4. How to edit reference photos to help you create beautiful paintings.

You will see exactly how to do these things in easy-to-understand demonstrations AND you will have written instructions to refer back to.

After you register you will be emailed these instructions on how to take good photos, how to save & submit photos at WAS-H, and how to use all the edit tools on your phone. Print them before class as a guide.

Learn how to see the details in that too-dark photograph. Turn a so-so photograph into something worth painting!

Instead of investing in complicated photo editing programs, learn to use the tools already on your phone.

While the directions are based on an iPhone, the information would still be helpful in using a similar editing tool on an android phone or a simple editing program. Examples shown include images from both Androids and iPhones.

Registration for this class will close September 17 at noon central time. Please register early.
