The main focus of this workshop will be creating the rich textures of rusty objects, weathered wood, etc. We will explore a variety of techniques to create a realistic watercolor painting. The instructor will explain how to approach the variety of shapes, textures, and colors of the subject and how to create a strong contrast and depth in the painting.  Reference materials, detailed information, and supply list will be provided to all the registered participants at least 2 weeks prior to the workshop.  Students are also welcome to work from their own materials if they prefer.
