Level: Intermediate to Advanced
Skies are often a minimal non-descriptive element in a landscape. Let's explore ways of painting different kinds of skies, and letting them steal the show. Landscapes are full of textures so learn the basic techniques to describe what we see in rocks, foliage, and fields, and the way to use these new textures to lead the eye through your painting to a strong focal point. We will also explore ways to make lively color and effective techniques to give your water paintings the sparkle you are looking for, also covering movement of water, brushstrokes, and reflections.
