Gong-bi painting has been developing for thousands years, and is one of the oldest Chinese painting techniques that feature narratives or high authority figures in them. These queries include how to choose proper materials, how to prepare materials for Gong-bi style painting. In this section, you learn the steps for Gong-bi style painting, etc. Each technique will be hands-on and there will be step-by-step instructions. Welcome all levels.

Supply list
Brushes; Two fine tip brush for lines work, two small combination brushes(white bristles surrounded with brown bristles in inner), a large combination brush.
Paper: Shimmer paper or Extra Thin Cicada Wing paper (2 sheets of 54"x 27")
A box of Marie’s watercolor, 12 or 18 tubes
A bottle of Sumi-e ink or Chinese ink.
A soft pencil, a painting mat, four paper weights such as rocks, a roll of paper towels, a foam board 18 x 24", a couple of 18 x 24" drawing papers.
A wash jar or a small container, couple of porcelain dishes for mixing colors.
