JANUARY MONTHLY PAINT-IN: Demystifying Nocturnes with Carla Gauthier
Carla Gauthier, long time WAS-H teacher, WAS-H elite signature member, and NWS member, will inspire us with teachings on night paintings. See her website: http://carlagauthier.com/
Come for a day of painting "nocturnes" - night paintings. We will work together on a painting, getting both the glow of lights and velvety darks to create a night scene with drama and personality. Bring your regular painting supplies, and gouache if you have it. We will use very little of that, so don't go shopping.....unless you "need" an excuse to buy more art supplies! A value scale is also helpful, if you have one. Come for a day of learning and fun!
Bring a sack lunch, sweater or light jacket (in case the room temp is cool), We’ll have snacks and coffee!
