One monitor per class will receive discount in exchange for helping teacher with specific tasks. Registration code is given to those who have completed the training class.

PAINTING LOOSELY - Carla Gauthier

Thursday afternoons, June 7, 14, 21, 28. 1:00-4:00 pm. $150

We all love loose painting – it looks so simple, so free and effortless. So why do we often overwork a painting, when this loose style is what we have in mind? In this class we will stop fussing over details and struggling for perfection. We will let go of painting distractions and concentrate on simple shapes and values. We will learn ways to loosen up and create suggestive, beautiful and successful paintings.

Just bring regular supplies like your palette, tubes of paint including gouache, brushes and good quality paper, pencil, eraser, sponges and paper towels, and maybe masking fluid, masking tape.
