One monitor per class will receive discount in exchange for helping teacher with specific tasks. Registration code is given to those who have completed the training class.

WARM AND COOL COLORS - Carla Gauthier

Thursday mornings, June 7, 14, 21, 28. 9:30-12:30 pm.  $150

Red, Orange and Yellow are warm colors while Greens, Blues and Violets are cool. Simple enough, right? Well there's so much more to learn! That each and every color has a warm and cool version, that using them in a painting can create space and depth, that glazes of warms and cools can create a stronger focal point, that you might be able to make better decisions on which yellow, blue or red would work best in a given painting. Learn to understand your pigments, how to best use them to make your paintings stronger during this four-week class.

Just bring regular supplies like your palette, tubes of paint including gouache, brushes and good quality paper, pencil, eraser, sponges and paper towels, and maybe masking fluid, masking tape.
