CREATING ATMOSPHERE IN YOUR PAINTINGS - Carla Gauthier

Thursday afternoons, Nov 16, 30, Dec 7, 14. 1:00-4:00 pm.  $150

Atmosphere – from fog to smog, mist and rain, dusk to dawn. If you’re painting landscapes or cityscapes, weather and the effects of light can give a simple composition a stunning effect. We will learn how to use relative values, neutral colors, and levels of detail to create a painting that has more feeling, and more depth. We will work on a painting together to gain knowledge, and then use that on individual paintings.
