The Koi plays a unique part in the Japanese and Chinese garden. Using Chinese Brush Painting tools and techniques, you will focus on the Koi movements to compose them into a Chinese Painting. This ancient style of brushwork is deep in history and symbolism and meant to capture the spirit of the subject rather than the photographic reality. You will have fun experiencing the water-ink-brush-paper interaction giving many beautiful effects, which are different from any other art medium. All levels.
