MONTHLY PAINT-IN: Pen, Ink, & Watercolor! with Joanie Hughes
Saturday, May 5; 9:30 am-3:30 pm (set-up 9:00-9:30)
Joanie Hughes is a long time teacher at WASH. She has an easy style and extremely helpful. Her May 5th Paint-in will feature the endless possibilities of Pen, Ink, and Watercolor. This is a popular course and great way to kickstart your summer sketches! Those attending will render the shape and form of subjects with variety of line, patterns, and watercolor. 9:00-9:30 setup by attendees
9:30-3:00 class – lecture, demo, and painting
3:00-3:30 – cleanup
Bring a sack lunch sweater or light jacket (in case the room temp is cool), We’ll have snacks and coffee!
Supply list
One 20 paper Bristol 9X12 pad
Black Micron waterproof pens - 005, 03, 08
One regular lead or #2 pencil.
One eraser
Watercolor round brush - medium size.
Watercolor paints of your choice - yellow, red, blue. Watercolor pencil - black
Watercolor pencil - yellow, red, blue, green
Paper towel and box of tissues
iPhone or camera- OPTIONAL
Dip pen and black ink – OPTIONAL
One WATERBRUSH (brush’s handle has reservoir to fill with water) - OPTIONAL
