Friday, Saturday, & Sunday 9:30-3:30 pm July 28, 29, 30 $150 There is so much to juggle when doing a painting- subject matter, composition, color choices and mixing, getting variety to keep the painting interesting, but making sure it is unified so that the whole painting works together. It can be overwhelming to artists working in the watercolor medium. This class will break down steps to building better paintings, giving you time to concentrate on each distinct part, and apply them to your individual paintings. Boot Camp will divide into two six-week classes each. Each class will be beneficial to any artist and don’t need to be taken together. This second workshop will focus on making a strong finish to your work- backgrounds and negative space, variety in your painting, creative techniques for edges, self-critiquing your work, and making corrections. Not for first time beginners. Some experience with the medium required.Just bring regular supplies like your palette, tubes of paint, brushes and good quality paper, pencil, eraser, sponges and paper towels, and maybe masking fluid, masking tape.
