Mark will lead the class through four separate demonstrations.  Each participant will develop their own painting in each of the four sessions. The subject prompts which will consist of a medley of themes . . . landscapes, still life, architecture, and figurative. Mark will explain his approach to values and composition, as well as the importance of observing and creating “variation” in a painting.  Painters at all stages of experience are welcome, but the pace of each class might be challenging for the beginner.
