This class is designed for students to learn to draw the human head in correct proportion and measurements. Prior to painting faces in watercolor or any other mediums, it is preferable to learn human head proportion, howl to draw eyes, nose, lips, ears, & neck, and the correct proportion to each other. This class is a pre-requisite for Prof. Bhatti’s other portrait classes, and with the basic knowledge of portrait drawing in various mediums, one can feel more comfortable and enjoy the adventure of painting portraits in watercolor medium. Intermediate to advanced.

Supply List: graphite pencils HB, 2B, 4B; charcoal pencil/stick, pen & ink, Conte crayon, pastels, watercolor paints, drawing sheet, drawing board, eraser, masking tape, sharpener
