Four Tues evenings,

July 5, 12, 19, 26 6:30-9:30 pm

Participants will be encouraged to follow Mark as he illustrates his techniques and leads the class through four separate evening demonstrations. Each participant will develop their own painting in each of four sessions while being guided and encouraged by Mark’s input and real time demonstration. Mark will provide the subject prompts, which will be a medley of themes . . . landscape, still life, architecture, and figurative. Mark will spend time with each student and a portion of each class period will be devoted to a group critique of the paintings being created. The class will also explore the importance of value studies in making a good composition, and some time will be devoted to a better understanding of perspective drawing.
