Drawing and painting people is definitely a challenge. Understanding basic proportions, shapes, colors and simple things to look for to make your figures convincing can help you add life and energy to your watercolor paintings. We will cover basic posture and poses, scale, placement and of course how to paint figures in your work. Together we will start a sketch diary, where we have to draw to build confidence and competence. We will paint a few figures together as a group project, and then you will break out to do your own figure painting with help and guidance from me. If you are anxious about painting people, this class will give you the tools and rules you need to move forward. All levels.
