Participants will be encouraged to follow Mark as he illustrates his techniques and leads the class through two separate demonstrations. One day will be dedicated to a figurative subject and the second day will be devoted to an architectural subject. The primary focus of the class will be to clearly see, explore and capture the subject faithfully with watercolor, and to properly sequence each step of the painting. Emphasis will also be placed on a clear understanding of “values” and the importance they play in making a painting successful.
