MAJOR WORKSHOPS

TAUGHT BY NATIONALLY RENOWNED ARTISTS

WAS-H hosts Major Workshops taught by nationally known artists.  Two are in conjunction with the International Watermedia Exhibition (IWE) in March and the Annual Members Exhibit (AME) in October when the visiting artist is also the juror and judge for the corresponding exhibit.

For intermediate to advanced watercolorists.  The workshop features a limited palette and there will be masking and pouring techniques as well as texture tools such as the toothbrush and mouth atomizer.  



      


Laurie is a Member of the Watercolor Honor Society and a signature

member of the American Watercolor Society and the Transparent Watercolor Society of America.

Laurie's work can be seen in Splash 13, 14, 18, 21and 23.

She has been published several times in Watercolor Artist magazine as well as Art of Watercolour magazine.

Laurie curated a book about Contemporary Women Watermedia Artists titled "Her Voice".

Her work earned her the High Winds Medal at the 150th Anniversary Exhibition of the American
Watercolor Society. In 2022, she was honored t be included in the International Watercolour
Masters Exhibition in England, where she also demoed and taught.
