The workshop will focus on painting this amazing flower, being really bold with the colours on the petals, contrasting lots of sharp and soft edges, intense colours. The background is mainly soft focus but still a lot of fun to paint!
I will share tips and my techniques on how to use watercolour media to capture the illusion of light and be bold with colour, using a limited palette!
Students will work from the photograph and drawing that I will provide.
I will paint step-by-step and the students will paint each step along with me before I move onto the next step and so on.
