Shop exceptional and affordable art by emerging and established artists from across Houston. Enjoy delicious local food from our surrounding restaurants while shopping and explore the Annual Member Exhibit.

How you can participate 

The WAS-H Art Fair returns on Saturday, October 8, 2022 - 11 am to 4 pm

The Art Fair is a fun opportunity for members to offer their original paintings, fine art prints and cards for sale to the public.  To participate in the art fair, artists must agree to:

1.  Serving cashier duties for one hour during the event and

2. Being a part of the set up or break down crew.  


We have limited spaces, so be sure to register early.  All spaces come equipped with a table and two chairs.  For those reserving a 10'x10' space, you may bring your own tent.


The registration is on-line, and the registration fee is non-refundable.

Spaces may be shared but both registrants must sign up separately.

If it rains, we will move the event indoors.

Set-up for the Art Fair is 8 am to 10:30 am, the Fair runs 11 am to 4 pm and take-down and clean-up from 4-6 pm. You can register below.

Additional Information for participants:

  • The sale is outside in the parking lot. One table and 2 chairs in each space.
  • Sales are handled by WAS-H, 25% commission, just like the gallery.
  • Sales may include: any water media art, including prints or cards.
  • Framed or matted artwork is fine, but it must be clearly priced
  • No paintings may be priced under $30, except for cards
  • Bring your own print bins or baskets/boxes to display work.
  • This will also make it easier to move if the weather takes a turn
  • Participants must attend a meeting prior to the Sale to ensure things run smoothly.
  • We also welcome all WAS-H volunteers who choose not to sell.

    ART FAIR 2022 Registration

    Saturday, October 8

    8 am - Set-up

    11 am - 4 pm

    4 pm - Take down


    Registration is limited!  Only 12 spots will be able to accommodate a tent (tents are supplied by the artist).  Tables can have no more than two artists represented.  Each artist must register separately.


    Artists receive 75% of their painting sales, while WAS-H receives 25%.  


    Participating artists must agree to volunteer for Cashier Duty for one hour, and agree for one of the two activities below:

    1.  Set-up Crew:   8 am - includes table/chair set-up/parking lot prep/signs

    2.  Closing Crew:  4 pm - returning tables/chairs, removing trash, sign pickup.
