January Exhibit Winners and On-line Show

Theme:  Experimental

Each month the Watercolor Art Society - Houston hosts a new exhibit.  This month the theme was "Experimental".  

Artists are encouraged to use non-traditional ideas and materials for January’s exhibit.  Entries judged by:  basic design elements; color, line, shape, scale, space, texture, and value; and the way in which the piece explores new or unusual techniques, materials and themes while still adhering to solid artistic principles.

This month we have 52 paintings submitted by 25 artists.  You can view 28 of the paintings in the online gallery below.  Artists:  if you want your paintings to show online, you must send a digital image to: Admin@watercolorhouston.org.
