ART FOR SENIORS    (Registration limit has been reached)

    Thursday mornings, 9:30-12:30

    Level: All (no instructor)

    Winter/Spring term begins January 23rd.

Come paint with friends in a welcoming setting. Our large space allows us to fill the room, with painters sharing our 25 tables, where there is always a new image shared to paint, and a wonderful social time.  We will have facilitators similar to the fall semester format, each an accomplished artist, including regular WAS-H teachers and Signature members, with a couple of weeks for you to finish up your paintings or paint something new.

While the group size is too large for focused instruction, the week's facilitator will have some suggestions for approaching how to paint that week's image. With the amount of experience in the room, there is always someone nearby to answer your question or offer an opinion. This weekly event is a community education outreach.  All levels. No fee.

When registration is full, please add your name to the waitlist, either by registering online or by contacting Martin Butler, WAS-H's administrative assistant, at 713-942-9966 or at, and we will let you know when a spot opens.

No Art for Seniors scheduled in the summer. Schedule runs September - May.
