Monthly Gallery Exhibit

Monthly Gallery Exhibits are featured at WAS-H's own gallery space each month of the year except March and October when the Annual International Exhibition and Annual Members Exhibit are shown. The Monthly Gallery Exhibits are juried by a local artist, and cash awards are presented to First, Second and Third Places with ribbons going to Honorable Mentions. Members have an opportunity to submit work in water-media, offering the community opportunity to view and purchase contemporary art.

To participate in WASH exhibits, artists must comply with Exhibition Criteria, which are explained HERE.

University of Houston and then taught art in public schools for 20 years before becoming a full-time artist at Archway Gallery. Primarily an abstract painter, Donna has experimented with other mediums because friendships provided opportunities to work with dancers, choreographers, photographers, videographers and writers. There is an element of play and experimentation in her work. If she were to write a one-word artists statement, it would be “Look!” If she were to stretch it to two words, it would be “Look! Wow!”
