You've already taken Watercolor Bootcamp and wonder what to do next? This series of one-day workshops will help you move past the beginner stage! In this workshop, we will learn all about color: the color wheel, how warm and cool colors relate to each other and how to mix colors to create new colors. These are essential to get you on the right path to becoming an excellent watercolorist!
Recommended Supplies for Students:
Winsor lemon (or any lemon yellow)
Hansa Yellow Medium (Daniel Smith)
Permanent Rose (Winsor Newton)
Scarlet Lake (Winsor Newton)
French Ultramarine Blue (Winsor Newton)
Winsor Blue Green (Winsor Newton)
Burst Sienna (Winsor Newton)
A pad of 100% cotton paper, cold press. (Arches, Fabriano or Winsor Newton 9x12
A pad of student grade paper by Winsor Newton, Fabriano or Strathmore (yellow or brown pad) at least 9x12 size, larger is fine.
Round brush, size 6
Round brush, size 10
A white ceramic plate or enamel mixing tray.
A palette to hold the paints.
A Roll of paper towel
A Graphite pencil, HB is fine.
A kneaded eraser.
A support board
Painter's masking tape (1” - Sherwin Williams is excellent)
